Jumbo

This is an acrylic painting I did for an issue of Orson Scott Card's Intergalactic Medicine Show. It's for a semi-fantasy but mostly history-inspired story about the largest elephant to have ever existed, Jumbo.

Kind of a strange composition, and not the best lady, but I'm happy with the textures in the elephant's skin.
